'Introduction to Beekeeping'
Summer weekend course on the 8th & 9th July 2017
in the Snuff Mill at Morden Hall Park
starting at 9:30 am - 3:00pm (weather and bees permitting!)
Please bring your own packed lunch or use the National Trust cafeteria.
There are also local shops a few minutes walk away.
Cost: £70.00 (includes course notes and light refreshments)
This course is designed for those who may like to start the craft of beekeeping and also those who want to learn more about these fascinating insects.
It comprises 2 classroom-based morning sessions and 2 afternoon sessions in our teaching apiary handling the bees.
Protective beekeeping suits will be provided but you are asked to bring along some stout shoes or wellington boots and a pair of rubber gloves (Marigold's are ideal).
